To mark the 10th anniversary of CCTV cameras in UK, we sent an 8 foot alien onto the streets to fool the CCTV camera controller to send 3 police cars to respond to the scene in Bournemouth, UK.

This amazed me just because of the response time….its kinda eerie but oddly re-assuring that cops are actually trying to find crime(they say 😉

Except that the CCTV cameras had nothing to do with it. And I quote:

Absolutely brilliant! in today’s day and age of ‘Big Brother is Watching’, it’s good to see someone beating the system at it’s own game.
Precisely! CCTV cameras had nothing to do with it as “people had rung up”! So why are we spending millions of tax payer’s money on them?! That money would be better spent on having more police officers on the streets and better street lighting to prevent crime.
