  1. Wow! That is great!

I can actually remember the feeling of dozens of eyes watching me install at sign sign as they waited in their cars at that intersection.

I think that was the first thing I ever tried “in broad daylight”. When no one flinched, I was convinced it was the way to go.

If I did it again, I’d try “Push 45 times for faster response”.

  2. How about:
“Questions? Comments? Use morse code, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!” and a morse code chart. Alternatively, “Morse code line to God. Please limit prayers to 140 letters.”

“Voting booth. Press to elect Sarah Palin.”

“For every press of this button, the city has dedicated 1 cent to the purchase of our very own nuclear bunker.”

  3. I once read in a transit magazine that the function of those crosswalk buttons is to slightly increase the amount of time the “Walk” signal is displayed. They are an insult to pedestrians and should be soundly mocked, preferably with humorous signs.

  4. i love these sign hacks! seems kind of a bummer to make one in l.a. tho; how often do you see people walking around there?
