On February 21, 2009, an advertising firm handed Poster Boy a MoMA jacket and gave him free range of the MoMA branded Atlantic-Pacific subway station in New York. Turns out the firm wasn’t supposed to do that, and MoMA fired them. Whoops.
Check out Posterboy’s brand new book.
This isn’t so much a prank as it is some d-bag defacing some legitimate artwork in order to create something that looks like it was done by a marginally talented fourth grade art student. Lame.
Surely he is defacing reproductions of art work? They would not have let him go down and destroy a work created by someone else… would they?
I really enjoyed that, haha.
