Today’s Wall Street Journal has a nice article about Improv Everywhere and many of the groups covered on this blog. Check it out:

There will be an Mp3 Experiment happening in Geneva, Switzerland next Thursday. The event is being organized by a local group. See the Geneva Mp3 Games site for more details (helpful if you speak French!)
The Mp3 Experiment was created by Improv Everywhere in 2004. There have been four installments so far in New York, with a fifth planned for later this year.
A duo in Oregon recently staged a new version of Improv Everywhere‘s 2006 mission Meet a Black Person. They set up their “Meet a Black Guy” booth at the farmer’s market in their hometown Corvallis, which is overwhelmingly white.
In other news the original Black Person just got hired back for his third season as a writer on MAD TV, and the editor of the original video (below) just got hired back for his second season! Congrats to Colton Dunn and Chris Kula!
The “freeze” craze started by Improv Everywhere’s Frozen Grand Central mission has now reached 70 cities in 34 countries and 6 continents (come on Antarctica, get with the program!) Agent Piskvor from Prague made a very cool map showing the locations of all the freeze missions. It’s a Google Map, so you can interact with it and click through to see the video for each city.
A couple of recent freezes of note include the first freeze in the Middle East:
…and a freeze in Hong Kong where legislators and councilors from the local government participated.
